Under 9’s Enjoy Finals day at KCCC Beckenham

11th in the whole county- best finish ever!

The Under 9’s team finished their season with a great day out at KCCC Beckenham, in the Mini Super 8’s finals day!

The team played local festivals in June and July against other Ashford sides and finished 2nd to book their place in the finals.

The team of 10 competed against 24 other teams from across Kent to battle for the title of Mini Super 8’s champions.
Coming 3rd in the morning group stage meant that coming first was now out of reach however the a further 2 wins in the afternoon knock-out rounds against Bromley Tempest and Dulwich Destroyers meant they finished in 11th place in the county out of the 100 teams that entered, our highest ever finish!

They all received medals and goodies from Kent cricket at the presentations. Well done to the team and coaches- we hope you enjoyed your day out and this season!
