With four thriving sections, immaculate facilities, and an ideal location, the growing village club is a welcome host to the young and old alike.
Please check out all the sections on our website for more information about the different sports and social activities available.
Ethos
Our club ethos is a written declaration that sets out how we want to run as a club. It’s simple, concise, and understandable to members, players, parents, and officials.
In 2020, Mersham Sports Club became a Charity Incorporated Organisation (CIO), made up of the Sports Club committee, responsible for the overall management of the Club and facilities, the trustees of the CIO, and the different sections that govern each of the sports and social activities.
Please see the individual pages for each section to find out more:
Mersham Sports Club is fully committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of everyone involved with our activities. The club believes it is important that members, coaches, administrators, and parents associated with the club should, at all times, show respect and understanding for the safety and welfare of others.
Members, parents, carers, and guests are encouraged to be open at all times and to share any concerns or complaints that they may have about any aspect of the club with a member of our safeguarding team - see contact info below.
If you would like to raise a concern, report an incident, accident, or injury, please complete our Online Reporting Form by clicking here or scanning the QR code below, which will be sent to our Safeguarding team.
If you believe anyone’s immediate safety is at risk and requires urgent action, please contact us, or alternatively, the organisations listed at the bottom of the table.

Along with my late husband and family, I have been involved with the Club for 49 years and have seen three generations of families, including my own, enjoying the facilities of the Club.
Over the years, we have been encouraged by the growing interest from the village and surrounding area to participate in the various sports offered by Mersham Sports Club.
All activities are conducted in a safe and encouraging environment.
Of course, this membership growth has put tremendous pressure on our facilities.
Therefore, we are actively looking to raise money for a new clubhouse, as already, unfortunately, we are having to turn people away as all our programs are oversubscribed.
With this in mind, we are inviting everyone to participate and become a Vice President of the Club. Of course, the main purpose of the Vice President program is to raise funds for the Club to ensure future generations can continue to benefit from a great local facility
For further information, please see below. I would be more than happy to provide further information should you require it.
Yours sincerely
Pat Smithers
Your participation in our Vice President program will help create a legacy that the Club can be proud of and that future generations can enjoy.

We’d like to thank all of those who dedicate their time to making the club such a wonderful place for all.
We are always in need of extra help and volunteers and welcome any members who wish to be involved and assist with club activities.
Volunteering has many benefits not only for the club but also helps volunteers to develop personally, using and acquiring different skill sets, gaining accredited qualifications and certificates, adding huge value to CVs for potential employers, especially for young people within the club.
Opportunities and skills that can be developed:
We support volunteers as much as we can by providing opportunities, helping to fund courses and certificates, providing kit, and supporting them in their roles.
Volunteering at Mersham can also be useful for other awards, such as the Duke of Edinburgh.
If you would like to be involved with volunteering at Mersham, please contact any of the section contacts below or speak to your team coach/manager, who will help to get you involved.
